GEOPARK BLOGGEOPARK ARTIST PROJECT - ANNA KELEHER Researching the Agency of Things + Talking With Things. Supported by the National Lottery through Arts Council England13th December 2009My camera explores a skull and makes a nice Christmas card I found this Roebuck skull while walking with Mark near my home on the door step of the Geopark. I brought it home and introduced it to the wreath that I made at Occombe which is wilting slightly and not so shiny these days. Anyway I did get quite carried away and I am pleased with some of the images. I think I told you my faithful old camera died after I dared it to peer out from behind a mini-waterfall. I had to rush out to get a new one before the Seashore Centre workshops as I wanted to record them. Its brilliant and I like the wide angle lens a lot, It makes human fingers look like gekko toes. My camera got in closer and closer and the macro shots started to be really absorbing until it ran out of battery just as the best shot was about to materialise. It is one of those ones that plugs directly into the socket... so no chance of a new battery. You can see some of the pre-miraculous shots in my photo section. Geopark Actors, Things and Places. Not really suitable for a christmas card but .... Also Mark says that my blogs look crap because they have lots of mistakes in them. But once done you can't correct so ...... Though I am a professional artist I am not yet a professional blogger |
