EVENTSSTRATA the earth in colour26 Oct - 31 DecTorre AbbeyAn exhibition exploring geological mapping as art and science, featuring William Smith and the making of his 1815 geological map. The centrepiece of this exhibition is a rare canvas mounted travelling copy of the map (seres b, 22), in pristine condition. The map will be on display at Torre Abbey in the English Riviera UNESCO Global Geopark, shown alongside geological specimens from Torquay Museum's collections.
