Stone age school- stargazer
17 Nov 2018
Star Gazer (evening session only 5pm-7pm) – The stars have been a useful calendar and navigation tool since the start of humanity, but has the night sky always looked the same? Join us with ‘Dartmoor Skies’ as they guide you through the solar system and give you a chance to look up at the night sky through their telescopes.
Each child will leave every session with something that they have made and a badge to show their new Stone Age skill.
All sessions will be based on site at Kents Cavern, within the woodland trail and caves and will run whatever the weather. We recommend that any children attending our lessons come in appropriate clothing to suit the weather and temperature, unless stated otherwise on the individual session pages on the Kents Cavern website.
other information: There are only spaces for 30 children on this session. All children must be accompanied by an adult (1 adult free of charge for up to 4 children).
