Kents Cavern jawbone chosen for Devon

Kents Cavern Jawbone (maxilla) KC4, probably the earliest direct evidence of anotomically modern humans in Britain, will be featured as part of the BBC's new "A History of the World in 100 Objects".

The original is on display at Torquay Museum.
