EVENTSGeopark Festival - SUPER-SENSING29 MayPaignton Zoo - Totnes Road, Paignton TQ4 7EUSUPER-SENSING Celebrate the Geopark Festival and join a special trail with artists and environmentalists to uncover the amazing hidden ecologies at Wild Planet Trust. Use your eyes, ears and special super-sensing equipment to find out about how nature talks! Part nature walk, with sound collection using bio-sensors, drawing, listening & recording, making impressions in clay, we’ll be capturing as much diverse sound, data and imagery we can. Filament and NooN Collective invite you to get involved! Super-Sensing is part of a special Geopark linked project exploring cave ecosystems in the UK and Thailand supported by the British Council. Adults and Children welcome, most suitable for ages 12+. This activity is FREE but you need to book in advance as spaces are limited. Please book for everyone in your party. We will contact you in the week of the workshop with further details of where to meet. If you have questions meanwhile you can email us at [email protected] NB. This activity is FREE, but does not include day-access to Paignton Zoo so Super-Sensing participants will meet at the zoo entrance to be guided in, and then out at the end of the activity. For a whole day out, you can book this free activity here with NooN and also book your Paignton Zoo tickets with Wild Planet Trust at this link https://paigntonzoo.org.uk/plan-your-zoo-visit/ Tickets are free, but we include a suggestion donation amount with proceeds going to Wild Planet Trust's important conservation work. Filament are Associate Partners of the English Riviera UNESCO Global Geopark. https://www.filament.org.uk/our-work To find out more about the TAAHN project with NooN Collective: About Fungi and Being in the Dark click here.
