The Geopark Festival is back and better than ever! This week-long celebration allows you to delve deep into the essence of the English Riviera, exploring our rich culture and fascinating history. This year, we're excited to introduce our NEW Geopark Discovery Experiences!

Festival Highlights:

  • Meet Artists: Engage with local artists and discover their creative processes.
  • Beach Lab: Participate in hands-on scientific experiments and beach discoveries.
  • Discovery Sessions: Learn about the unique geology and ecology of the area.
  • Sunrise Meditation: Start your day with a peaceful meditation by the sea.
  • Sea Shanties: Join us on the beach to sing traditional sea shanties.
  • Painting Workshops: meet aritst and learn new techniques.

Locations: Events will be held across the Geopark: Torquay, Paignton, and Brixham.

We invite you to visit our UNESCO Geopark, with its vibrant urban buzz, delicious local food and drink, relaxing seaside spots, and spectacular coastline teeming with wildlife and sealife.

The workshop will begin with an exploration of the gardens, we will then lead some creative warm up activities and then move on to discussions and prompts to move deeper into unearthing the stories the Torre Abbey gardens hold, and capture these creatively, with the option to share these.
