Stone Age School - Fire maker
19 Jan
Kent's Cavern
Arguably one of the most important survival skills. Stone Age people mastered a number of different fire making techniques. Can you use a bow drill to make fire by friction? Each child will leave every session with something that they have made and a badge to show their new Stone Age skill. All sessions will be based on site at Kents Cavern, within the woodland trail and caves and will run whatever the weather. We recommend that any children attending our lessons come in appropriate clothing to suit the weather and temperature, unless stated otherwise on the individual session pages on the Kents Cavern website.
Meeting point - Kent's Cavern admission desk Time - 10am-12pm or 2pm-4pm Cost - £7.00 per session Booking essential - Online here
