(This film was created as a result of partnership working with the other UNESCO sites in the South West of England including the Jurassic Coast WHS, Cornish Mining WHS, Stonehenge and Avebury WHS, Bath WHS, and the North Devon Biosphere Reserve)




Geo-Collective go to Japan
(The English Riviera Global Geopark works with dynamic and innovative artists, to engage and provoke interest in all ages inspiring them to think more widely and creatively about the world around them. Thanks to Arts Council England funding, in May 2012 it was possible to share the Geoquest model with the community and staff of the Unzen Geopark and the delegates of Global Geopark Network at the 5th International UNESCO Conference on Geoparks. The Geo-Collective artists, performed on local Unzen radio and ran workshops for local groups and children. On returning to the UK these new songs were shared with the children of the English Riviera Geopark at the launch of the Geoplay Park and at other events)




Geopark meets Nowhere Island
(On the 6th August 2012 the Cultural Olympiad project Nowhere Island stopped off in the English Riviera Global Geopark as part of its tour around the South West of England and this is what happened as a result)
