Women of Cockington: A Heritage Tour

Join us at Cockington Country Park to celebrate International Women’s Day.

On the day there will be a short guided heritage tour around Cockington Country Park and a temporary exhibition within the Visitor Centre, as we aim to showcase some of the amazing and inspirational women who have lived in Cockington Shire through the ages.

These women include a Victorian philanthropist who founded many charities, including the NSPCC; one of the first registered female pharmacists practicing in the UK; Cockington estate and Cockington village workers; Ladies of Cockington Estate; and a Victorian spiritualist.

The exhibition is free to visit.

Time - 2.00pm - 3.30pm
Cost - £3.50 per person
