Celebration Exhibition: The Green Heart Project

Cockington

The Green Heart Project is a fundraising appeal for our Geopark Partner Cockington Country Park, it’s aim is to restore the country park by;

* rescuing the Linhay in the village centre and converting it in to a County Park Centre to welcome visitors, staffed by volunteers

* develop a programme of volunteering and provide accommodation for long term volunteers on annual placements

* renovate the lakes which date from the medieval period and Victorian ornamental planting around them

* improve the visitor experience with a programme of events and activity in the park

The project started in 2015 and is due to finish June 2019, The Celebration Exhibition is a showcase to look back on all of the projects amazing achievements over the past 4 years.

As the Green Heart Project reaches completion in June 2019 visit this exhibition showcasing the projects' fantastic achievements from the very start.
