There are 140 Geoparks in the World and ours is the only seaside resort with this status. With all this beauty and heritage on our doorstep, we are eager to share it with you. Our Walking Festival offers over 20 coastal walks led by experienced local guides, who will take you on fascinating journeys. The walk themes include literature, history, ghosts, plants, music and seafood, which cater for all levels of fitness. Choose from a short stroll around the grounds of Torre Abbey admiring its extensive floral collection, to full day tours along the South West Coast Path, with views which will literally take your breath away. You’ll have plenty of time to connect with nature, explore Devon’s beautiful Bay and learn lots of interesting facts along the way. And once you’ve finished, you can reward yourself with a hearty meal, a sumptuous cream tea, or a local beverage at one of our many restaurants and bars.
