Post-secondary education spans colleges, universities and apprenticeships. College educators and student support teams can work with the Geopark and its partners to develop a range of cross-curricular and future-skills learning experiences geared to employability and further education.Our Geopark partner South Devon College offers professional and technical vocational qualifications with a curriculum designed in partnership with employers.

Fieldwork and research localities

The Geopark offers outstanding localities for geological research and fieldwork — including Roundham Head (desert facies and logging), Goodrington (the angular unconformity between Devonian slates and Permian gravels) and Hope’s Nose and its surrounding exposures. Beyond geology, the Geopark is a rich setting for research in sustainable development, tourism, conservation, marine science and community engagement.
