How Geopark status can support funding bids for conservation, geotourism and education projects.
Working Together for Lasting Impact
Since designation in 2007 the Geopark has collaborated on many joint projects and has helped many of our partners stand out when it comes to funding applications. Successful bids have supported projects and works across the area, improving facilities for locals and visitors alike.
We work with like-minded partner organisations across Europe and further afield to develop funding bids for geological conservation, geotourism and geo-education projects, to share information and ideas, and to run joint promotional initiatives.
